Moltzau Aviation is run by Marius Moltzau, an experienced UAS operator, instructor and aviation consultant with a solid background in drone operations, training, operational planning, regulations and documentation.

 

Marius has built his experience through operational, technical and advisory roles in the drone and aviation industry. He has worked with drone education, operational drone assignments, system operation, STS training, practical evaluations, BVLOS procedures, operations manuals, risk assessments, HSE, logistics and cross-border applications.

 

His experience includes roles and projects with, among others, Bjørnholt VGS, Robot Aviation, Droneakademiet, Heimdall Power and Skyports Drone Services. Through Moltzau Aviation, he now applies this combined expertise as an independent consultant and operational specialist resource for customers who need both practical drone flying and aviation support.

 

In addition, Marius has valuable experience from the aviation and logistics industries through companies such as Avinor, Kuehne+Nagel, Menzies Aviation and the Norwegian Armed Forces. This combination gives Moltzau Aviation a strong understanding of safety, operational planning, risk management and complex aviation operations.

From operational drone experience to aviation consulting

Bjørnholt VGS

Marius worked as a drone studies teacher in a temporary position, gaining valuable insight into the drone industry, training and the communication of practical and theoretical drone expertise.

Robot Aviation

Through operational drone assignments and system operation, he gained experience with, among other things, FX-10 NG and FX-Y, as well as work with procedures and operations manuals for BVLOS operations.

Droneakademiet

As an instructor and subject matter resource, Marius worked with STS training, practical evaluations, regulations and documentation. The role also gave him experience with drone-related work across national borders.

Heimdall Power

At Heimdall Power, he gained more project and operational responsibility, including the planning and coordination of drone operations, risk assessments, HSE, logistics and cross-border applications.

Skyports Drone Services

Through a project in Belgium, Marius gained further experience with larger and more international drone operations, where operational understanding and cross-border coordination were central.

The work includes both practical drone assignments and consulting in operational planning, regulations, compliance, documentation and project support.
